About Friedrich Nietzsche

Friedrich Nietzsche was a German philosopher and classical scholar who became a professor at 24 and retired through ill health at 34. He spent the next decade writing restlessly before a mental collapse in 1889.

His provocative books, including Thus Spoke Zarathustra and Beyond Good and Evil, questioned traditional morality and religion and influenced philosophy, literature and psychology.
